Kitchen Galatta is a cookery show which presents a variety of delicious, mouth watering and healthy food prepared by celebrities and chefs. Today’s specialities are Cup Cake, Misal Pav and Groundnut Masala.

Cup Cake
Ingredients:
Maida, sugar, icing sugar, butter, egg, baking powder, vanilla essence, rose colour, salt.

Method Of Preparation:
Pre heat your oven.
Mix together maida, baking powder, salt in a bowl.
Add butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla essence in another bowl.
Whip well and add the maida mixture gradually into it.
Stir and mix everything into a smooth batter.
Pour the batter into cup cake mould and bake for about 20 minutes in the oven.
In a bowl add butter, icing sugar, vanilla essence, rose colour and mix well.
Transfer into an icing cone and squeeze it decoratively on the cup cakes.
Decorate with toppings and serve.


Groundnut Masala

Ingredients:
Groundnut, besan flour, red chilli powder, asafoetida powder, curry leaves, salt, oil.

Method Of Preparation:
In a bowl take the raw groundnuts.
Add besan flour, red chilli powder, asafoetida powder, water, salt and mix.
The groundnuts should be coated with the batter.
Deep fry in oil.
Fry some curry leaves, finally.
Remove from heat and serve.

Misaal Paav
Ingredients:
White peas, Paav bun, onion, tomato, green chilli, ginger, garlic, cumin, red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, garam masala, hing powder(omam), coriander leaves, salt, oil.

Method Of Preparation:
Soak and boil the white peas.
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin, onion, green chilli, ginger, garlic, tomato.
Saute well and add red chilli powder, coriander powder, amchur powder, salt.
Saute and remove from heat.
Cool it down and grind into a paste.
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, ground paste, stock of the boiled peas.
Let it boil, add the garam masala, and cooked white peas.
Boil well and finally add the coriander leaves.
Serve after sprinkling ompodi on top, along with paav.
