Kitchen Galatta is a cookery show which presents a variety of delicious, mouth watering and healthy food prepared by celebrities and chefs. Today’s specialities are Aval Appam and Chettinad Mushroom prepared by chef Palani Murugan.

Aval Appam
Raw rice, aval, curd, fenugreek, curd, salt.
Method Of Preparation:
Soak raw rice, aval, fenugreek and grind it into a batter.
Add curd, salt to taste and let it ferment.
Prepare appam in an appam pan with the a closed lid and serve hot.

Chettinad Mushroom
Mushroom, small onion, tomato, green chilli, coconut paste, ginger-garlic paste, dried red chilli, cumin, fennel seed, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, pepper, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt, coconut oil.
Method Of Preparation:
Heat oil in a pan and temper with cumin, fennel seeds, dried red chilli, curry leaves.
Add small onion, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli, tomato and saute well.
Add mushroom and season with red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and saute.
Pour coconut paste, water and bring it to boil.
Finally add salt, pepper and garnish with coriander leaves.
