The talk show will be anchored by Uma Padmanabhan, a well known Tamil socialite, television and movie actress, News reader and TV anchor. The Show is on Weekends (Sat-Sun) at 8.30PM.

Thuguluva Meenatchi Iyengar Sounderarajan (March 24, 1922 - May 25, 2013) was a playback singer in the Tamil film industry for over six decades. He gave his voice to a galaxy of actors and thespians in the South Indian film industry such as M. G. Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, N. T. Rama Rao, Gemini Ganesan, S. S. Rajendran, Jaishankar, Rajkumar, A. Nageswara Rao, RaviChandar, Nagesh, Ranjan, Kantha Rao, T S Balayya, Jagayya, Rajanikanth, Kamal Hasan and a generation of actors from 1946 till 2007. He is popularly known as TMS. In 2010, he also rendered his voice for the Tamil Semmozhi Meet Anthem which was composed by A. R. Rahman. He has sung 10000 film songs from 1946-2013 and 3000 devotional songs.He also sang Carnatic songs in various concerts of him from 1945-2013.He reigned supreme as the male playback singer in Tamil film industry from 1955-1991.

TM Soundarajan died on 25 May 2013 at his residence in Mandaveli, Chennai due to illness. He was 91 years old at the time of his death.

Silk Smitha's unofficial biopic The Dirty Picture starring Vidya Balan was a blockbuster in Bollywood. The film, with the stupendous performance of Vidya and good content, had won critics and audience appreciation.

Yesteryear sex siren Silk Smitha, who had acted in all Southern film industries, was talk of the town during her times. She reached the peaks, which many actresses would only dream, in no time and subsequently, fell down from the top.

Silk was considered to be a sensation at 80s and she worked with many top stars of South Indian films. But as the fate had it, she surrendered to death by committing suicide after tasting series of failures. Her death has been unresolved mystery even today!

Well, her life story inspired Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor to make a biopic. But as she did not take the permission from the late actress' family, the film got into legal tangle. In the end, the filmmaker released the movie starring Vidya Balan by claiming it did not have anything to do with Silk.

Now, yet another film claiming that it is a biopic of Silk Smitha, has been made in Malayalam-Tamil. After publicising all these months that it is an authentic biopic of the sex siren, the makers of the film, like Ekta Kapoor, released the film Nadigayin Diary (Climax in Malayalam) with a disclaimer, "It bears no resemblance to anyone living or dead." As we expect, it is the rags-to-riches story of a poor girl played by the Bollywood actress Sana Khan. She is an orphan and she was brought up by her step mother. Working as a house maid, she dreams of becoming a star. Her luck changes when a director comes across her. Instantly, screen test is done in her hut. Her looks impresses the director, and soon she becomes one of the biggest actress of not only Tamil films, but also of South films.

The actress turns a crowd puller through her bold roles. On her personal life, she falls in love with a businessman played by Suresh Krishna. In fact, she settles down in one of his bungalows. But later she realises that he has a grown-up son, who falls in love with her. What happens next should be seen on screen.

First of all, the story is not great as it lacks the strength. There is no depth in the characters. The story is not made with fine research. The screenplay by Kaloor Dennis is very unimpressive which makes the film a boring affair.

The only silver lining for the mass to watch Nadigayin Diary is seeing Sana Khan in skimpy clothes. The actress, though disappoints with her acting abilities, attracts the audience with her outfits in some of the songs.

Except a few characters, there are no roles that could leave a big impact on audience. And Nadigayin Diary is no match to Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture.

Verdict: Watch the film if you are a hardcore fan of Sana Khan.

We have been flooded with comedy films in the recent months. A series of films in this genre have hit the screens since January. For a change, a film with super-natural story is before you in the form of Masani featuring Ramki, Akhil, Roja, Iniya, Sijarose, Sarathbabu, YG Mahendran, Adukalam Naren and others. The film has not been in news like many other small-films in the recent times. But the posters of the film have generated curiosity in the minds of audience as it has been a while where audience came across a super-natural genre film. This factor made people to wait for the release. Now, let us see what the Tamil film has to offer. Read on for the review... There is a village in Salem district where sculptors come to complete the Amman statue. The headman of the place, Sarath Babu with his Roja wants them to complete the work, but unfortunately who ever tries to work on the stature, they get killed or they ran out of the village. The troubles are caused by a ghost. Why? There is a flashback where we are told about a couple and their broken love. This forms the main plot of the story. Director K Padmaraja has brought out various factors into the story like myth, beliefs and has tried to give realistic look to the film. By roping in seasoned actors, the filmmaker has brought out best from his artists.

The screenplay is not engaging. With the slow start, the film fails to hold the audience attention for long. Nonetheless, there are spine-chilling moments, which is the sole highlight of the film.

Ramki, who is returning after a while, has come out with flying colours. Iniya matches up with his performance as she is very impressive in her role.

Akhil is good in his role and he has given a mature performance. Y Gee Mahendran's character is good and is brilliant at parts. N Fazil's background score is good.

Sarath Babu and Aadukalam Naren have played their parts well. For a change, Roja will be seen in the negative role and she does her job well.

Verdict: The movie fails to create scary atmosphere. Adding to that graphic works are not up to the mark. Overall, it's not worth a watch in theatre.
